The National Training Center for Transformational Leadership (NTCTRL) provides a comprehensive suite of learning experiences designed to strengthen transformational leadership among professionals who serve, support, employ, or engage with people with disabilities.
All offerings are grounded in NTCTRL’s six core Transformational Leadership Competency Domains:

Flagship Program
Transformational Rehabilitation Leadership (TRL) Course
Format: Six-month cohort-based program
Structure:
- Six asynchronous competency modules, each with four lesson plans
- Cohort classroom-style learning, including a discussion board
- Virtual sessions to deepen application
- Assigned mentors for individualized guidance
- Strong emphasis on real-world implementation of transformational leadership principles
- Culminates in:
- Capstone project
- Certified Rehabilitation Leader (CRL) credential
Ideal for: Emerging and seasoned leaders seeking a comprehensive, applied leadership development pathway.
Asynchronous Competency Modules
Format: Individual, stand-alone online modules
Structure: Each module delivers a high-level overview of one of the six NTCTRL competency domains. Learners may complete one, several, or all modules.
Requirements for completion:
- Completion of Self-Reflection posts
- Score 70% or higher on module quizzes
Earn: A digital badge for each completed module.

Micro E-Learning Series
